We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Manager/Director to join our finance team. This is a pivotal role in shaping our company's financial future, blending data analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. The FP&A Senior Manager/Director will be responsible for overseeing our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights and steer the business toward its financial goals.
Responsibilities
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to understand their financial needs.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to project long-term growth and support strategic initiatives.
Analyze financial and operational results to provide detailed analysis and commentary on business performance.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and insights.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive business performance improvements.
Support debt compliance reporting and analysis.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting.
Support strategic initiatives, including the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
Assist in the preparation of materials for the Board of Directors, investors, and lender presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA is a plus.
5-10 years of experience in corporate finance, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
Proven experience in building and maintaining complex financial models.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and resourceful approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning and budgeting software.
Public accounting experience is a plus.
Proven experience supporting investor relations, lender communications, or board-level reporting, with a strong ability to craft compelling financial narratives for an external audience.
