The Corporate Real Estate team plays a critical role in shaping how Delta shows up in key spaces that support our operations, people, and customers. The team partners closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver real estate strategy, design and construction initiatives, airport affairs, and facilities experience and maintenance.
Through a mix of large-scale initiatives — such as airport redevelopments at LGA, LAX, and JFK, as well as the design and buildout of Delta Sky Clubs — and smaller, ongoing projects, the Corporate Real Estate team supports both long‑term transformation and day‑to‑day operational needs. Together, this work helps ensure Delta’s spaces consistently reflect the brand, support operations, and deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
We are seeking co‑ops interested in gaining additional exposure to how corporate real estate strategy, design, construction, and facilities operations come to life within a complex, customer‑focused environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Depending on assignment and business needs, the co‑op may support work such as:
Participating in site visits, facility walkthroughs, airport audits, and project reviews to gain firsthand exposure to active construction, operational spaces, and customer‑facing environments
Supporting data analysis related to space utilization, facilities performance, customer or employee experience, or project tracking
Conducting research and benchmarking on real estate trends, design standards, sustainability practices, or airport best practices
Assisting with documentation, audits, and other activities tied to airport or facilities operations
Contributing to ad hoc projects that provide insight into how Corporate Real Estate operates across strategy, execution, and ongoing operations
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Must be enrolled as a full‑time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4‑year academic institution
Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4‑point scale
Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the 12–week internship program
Must be available to work on a full‑time basis for 3 alternating semesters:
Fall 2026, Summer 2027, and Spring 2028.
Strong data analysis capabilities to support reporting, benchmarking, and decision‑making
High level of attention to detail when reviewing plans, documents, and operational information
Solid research skills, including the ability to synthesize findings and present insights
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong written communication skills for creating documentation, summaries, and reports
Effective verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal and external partners
Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities in dynamic, fast‑paced environments
Strong time‑management skills to support project timelines and priorities
A customer‑centric mindset with an understanding of how real estate impacts the employee and customer experience
Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively as part of a team
This position requires student to work for 3 alternating semesters. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in‑person) and work as a Co‑op/Intern at the same time, which may delay graduation by 1‑2 semesters.
Working as a Co‑op/Intern does not guarantee a full‑time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation. This position is intended to provide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student for the workforce
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
