Description Mechanical Design Drafter is to support the Mechanical Design Engineering Team in creating part/assembly models and drawings, updating existing designs, and assisting with engineering analysis and calculations.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain engineering CAD models and drawings.
Create/Develop component assembly models and assembly plans.
Support changes or troubleshooting with calculations and rationale.
Assist in component and machine testing including creating plans (written, drawings, schematics), assembling hardware, and running tests.
Assist manufacturing engineering to document processes, Design Tools and Fixtures as workload allows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have 5+ years of Mechanical Design and/or Drafting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must have experience with GD&T - tolerances, designs for mechanical systems, sheet metal, CNC machining, for parts with tight tolerances.
Experience Level Intermediate Level
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cerritos, CA. Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Cerritos, CA. Application Deadline: The position is anticipated to close on Apr 10, 2026.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
