Business Development Specialist – Entry Level

Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company beginning to disrupt the last mile home delivery market. We are currently looking for a Business Development Specialist who will play a crucial role in driving our growth and promoting our services to potential clients.

Primary Role The Business Development Specialist will use their skills and talent to get potential clients interested in Allegro Home Delivery and its related services. You will be provided with targeted prospect lists to call, email, text, and use social media to generate interest in our services and schedule appointments to initiate the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

Use targeted prospect lists and create your own prospect lists to identify and qualify new sales leads using helpful tools such as ZoomInfo

Execute outbound prospecting and lead management through various channels such as calling, emailing, text messaging and social media

Log leads and follow-up activities as well as update/maintain account info in Salesforce.com

Educate the market about our services

Present our company’s value proposition & services to potential clients, and handle objections to convert leads into qualified opportunities

Qualify leads and set meetings for decision makers to meet with you, along with other senior members of our sales team

Facilitate initial conversation with prospective customers, network and build relationships effectively in a professional settingProvide feedback to the marketing team to improve lead generation strategies and messaging based on client interactions and market insights

Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads generated and meetings set

Qualifications

A strong understanding and well-defined reason for being interested in a Sales career

Solid communication skills with an emphasis on listening, persuasion, and persistence

Track record of prior success and strong work ethicGo-getter, ambitious, self‑motivated, competitive, and self‑disciplined

Ability to work within a fast‑paced team environment under minimal supervision

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Work is performed in an indoor office environment and involves frequent contact with customers, vendors, employees, and the public
