We are seeking a compassionate and creative
Life Enrichment Associate
to join our Life Enrichment team and support older adults in Assisted Living, including those living with dementia. In this role, you will help design and deliver meaningful experiences that foster connection, curiosity, and joy. Our residents thrive when supported by team members who value dignity, independence, and lifelong learning, and who believe that engagement is essential to quality of life.
Starting Pay Range:
$23.00 to $25.23 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 11:00am to 7:30pm (with weekend rotation once per month)
What You’ll Do
Build meaningful connections with residents by getting to know who they are and what brings them joy.
Create and lead fun, engaging activities that spark joy, curiosity, and connection in both small-group and individual settings.
Make a real impact by supporting residents’ cognitive, emotional, and social well-being through purposeful, inclusive programming.
Collaborate closely with a welcoming, creative Life Enrichment team, as well as families, vendors, and care partners.
Help bring our community to life by creating a warm, supportive environment where every resident feels valued, supported, and free to be themselves.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with older adults, especially those living with dementia.
Ability to creatively plan and facilitate engaging activities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
A genuine passion for enriching the lives of others.
Qualifications
High school diploma
1 year of experience with the geriatric population, including but not limited to dementia, complex family dynamics, and transition plans
1 year of administrative experience preferred
1 year of experience in a customer service position preferred
Skills and Certifications
Proficient with Office 365 (Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
Proficient using an iPad and other Apple products
Dementia and Mental Health Training (training available via Horizon House)
Proven organizational skills
