Day Habilitation Specialist (Full-time)
Join Child Serve as a Day Habilitation Specialist. M-F, daytime hours, up to $18/hour! The Day Habilitation Specialist supports the skill development and maintenance for young adults. This team member will provide or assist with care needs and supervision in a group setting.
Schedule/Where You’ll Be
Up to $18/hour
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

How You’ll Make an Impact
Provide direct care and assist assigned individuals with accessing the community and increasing independence with communication, socialization and daily living skills
Implement individual’s care plans and provide ongoing feedback regarding additional or changing care plan needs to child’s supervisor or Day Hab Supervisor
Required to become certified for medication administration, seizures, and g-tube feedings as well as other specialized trainings as identified
Assure timely and accurate documentation
What You’ll Need
Basic Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, pass criminal and child abuse background checks, and have a high school diploma preferred.
Driving & Transportation: Must qualify as a ChildServe authorized driver, including passing motor vehicle and car safety checks, providing valid license and insurance, and obtaining a chauffeur’s license if required.
Skills & Experience: Strong oral and written communication skills for accurate documentation; experience with or knowledge of children with special health care needs preferred.
Language & Professionalism: Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively for clear communication and documentation.
