Overview Position Summary:

Responsible for working closely with R&D, Marketing, Material, Operations and print suppliers to create, revise, and release Product Inserts, Packaging Artwork and Labeling Artwork in accordance with regulatory requirements, standards, and Company procedures. Prepare labeling change documentation (Change Orders), with supporting documentation. Coordinate with external partners (e.g. Affiliates and other Company site locations, such as Spain, Japan, China, etc.) and suppliers/consultants.

Responsibilities Key Accountabilities

Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain the layout and production design of manuals, product inserts, packaging, and labeling. To include troubleshooting when artwork issues arise.

Maintain and, when needed, design logos/branding for products.

Support Operations with creation of symbols, pictograms, and graphics related to products and the production environment.

Support production printing operations/troubleshooting printing issues.

Proofreading/reviewing graphics artwork generated by contracted service providers.

Proficient in the creation and processing of Change Orders. This includes familiarity with the SAP interface and change mechanisms required to affect these changes with minimal supervision.

Coordinate with the Materials department to meet artwork requirements for labeling.

Other duties/projects as assigned by supervisor or management.

Networking/Key Relationships:

The incumbent is expected to independently interface with numerous functions, manufacturing plants, and suppliers. Therefore, the position requires the ability to balance priorities and commitments. The following qualifications are necessary:

Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications.

Work independently with strong attention to detail.

Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Must be able to thoroughly evaluate, clearly understand and communicate all aspects of assigned project.

Be accountable for the identification, reporting, and development of resolutions for problems.

Capable to perform multiple tasks and effectively manage conflict.

Self-motivated/directed with the ability to organize tasks with minimal supervision required

Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience for the Position:

BA/BS degree in a graphic design field required. BFA a plus.

Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as an Artwork Graphics Designer, with a minimum of 2 years in a regulated industry. International Mobility :

The annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $80,000 to $90,000. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
