Overview
The Minnesota House DFL Caucus is seeking a committed, experienced campaigner to lead our Candidate Services department and help win back a majority in the Minnesota House in 2026.
Responsibilities
Serve as the point of contact for House DFL candidates and their campaign teams while working with them to run top‑notch campaigns, focusing on field, fundraising, communications, and overall operations.
Hire, train, and manage a team of candidate services assistants to support House DFL campaigns.
Teach new candidates how to effectively set up campaign operations and announce their candidacies.
Advise candidates and campaign managers on recruiting, training, and managing effective campaign teams.
Collaborate with candidates and campaign teams to develop a campaign‑specific path to victory, including district‑specific field, fundraising, and communication goals and benchmarks.
Establish a culture of accountability with candidates and House DFL Leadership to ensure effective execution of individual campaign plans.
Connect House DFL candidates and campaigns with campaign resources and partner organizations.
Oversee the House DFL Caucus fundraising partnership with existing safe‑seat House DFL members.
Qualifications Ideal candidates will have at least two cycles of campaign experience and some management experience, demonstrate superb judgment and political savvy, be team players with an outstanding work ethic, and be able to manage multiple projects at one time.
