Asset Manager - Senior Housing

Michael Page, Dallas, TX, United States

Asset Manager - Senior Housing

A privately held real estate investment and development firm with a national portfolio across healthcare and seniors housing is seeking a talented Asset Manager to join its growing Seniors Housing platform. The firm has a strong track record in both acquisition and development, partnering with multiple capital sources and operators across the U.S. The seniors housing portfolio spans independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities in several markets. The Asset Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of seniors housing assets, working closely with operations, finance, and acquisitions leadership to maximize asset performance. This position is ideal for someone who understands the operational intensity of seniors housing and enjoys blending financial analysis with real-world operational partnership. You will be stepping into a platform that is intentionally shifting toward higher talent standards and more strategic asset management discipline. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day financial and operational performance of seniors housing assets. Manage reporting, rent rolls, budgets, forecasting, and valuations. Partner closely with third-party operators, holding them accountable to KPIs and performance targets. Conduct analytical reviews of monthly financial packages, variances, and market trends. Prepare internal reporting for senior leadership and capital partners. Identify opportunities to enhance NOI through operational improvements and capital planning. Support acquisition underwriting and transition activity as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Acquisitions, and Executive leadership. While there is a strong preference for local candidates who are comfortable being in office, for well qualified candidates with direct experience, remote work is an option. MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants. A successful Asset Manager - Senior Housing should have: Background in seniors housing operations or operations-heavy real estate strongly preferred (similar to an operator-to-owner asset manager path). 3-7 years of relevant experience in asset management, property operations, financial analysis, or seniors housing operations. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in valuations, underwriting, and financial modeling. Ability to communicate confidently with operators, capital partners, and internal stakeholders. Detail-oriented, highly accountable, and comfortable managing multiple assets simultaneously. Preference for candidates local to DFW or willing to relocate; remote may be considered only for deeply experienced seniors housing talent. What's on Offer: Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $120,000 USD annually. Bonus eligible. Opportunity to work in a platform that values true operational insight, not checkbox asset management. Exposure to meaningful deal flow, operator interaction, and high-quality acquisitions leadership. Join a firm committed to growing its seniors housing presence and elevating its internal talent standards. Hands-on, visible role with direct impact on portfolio performance.
