Job Description The Neuron Clinic is a busy outpatient neurology practice with locations in Chula Vista, El Cajon, Murrieta, Corona, Palm Springs and San Marcos, CA. We are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, Tricare, and most HMOs and commercial PPOs. We are seeking a healthcare professional that is passionate about quality care and making a difference in our patients lives. We are looking for an experienced infusion nurse with leadership abilities, the ideal candidate has experience in neurology and or oncology.

Job Summary The Director of Infusion Center provides leadership and oversight of the infusion business line and infusion center operations under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer. This role is instrumental in ensuring the organization’s mission, vision, and goals are reflected in infusion services while driving profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. The Director owns performance of the infusion P&L (revenue, cost, margin), leads strategic planning for the infusion program, and partners cross-functionally to optimize access, utilization, throughput, patient experience, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Ensure a prepared infusion center with adequate clinical/office supplies, functioning equipment, and standardized workflows to support safe, efficient daily operations and patient flow.

Own the infusion business line performance, including revenue, direct/indirect costs, and contribution margin; ensure profitability goals are achieved and sustained.

Develop and execute annual and quarterly operating plans for the infusion center aligned with organizational strategy and growth objectives.

Partner with Revenue Cycle/RCM leadership to optimize reimbursement and cash performance for infusion services (authorizations, charge capture, denials, AR aging, collection yield).

Directly supervises infusion center staff (clinical and administrative as applicable).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field (required); advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare operations experience, with at least 2 years in an infusion center or comparable outpatient service line; demonstrated ownership of financial performance and operational improvement.
