Join a dynamic team supporting international trade operations in a fast‑paced, global environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliant and efficient cross‑border transactions while driving continuous improvement across trade systems and processes.
What You’ll Do:
Lead day‑to‑day import/export compliance activities, including transaction reviews, screenings, and release decisions
Resolve trade system holds and apply regulatory and policy expertise to enable timely shipment flow
Own export and tariff classification activities, ensuring accuracy and strong data governance
Leverage data and reporting tools to proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks
Partner with cross‑functional teams to provide clear, actionable guidance on trade regulations
Drive process and system enhancements to improve efficiency, automation, and compliance outcomes
Support audits, risk assessments, and evolving regulatory requirements in a global landscape
What You Bring:
Experience in global trade compliance with strong knowledge of import/export regulations and classifications
Hands‑on experience with trade compliance systems and data analysis tools
Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on risk identification and process improvement
Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts in a clear, business‑friendly way
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
