This role will play a pivotal role in partnering with the respective VP & Managing Director, Food Manufacturer Sales and Specialties, US to deliver upon the market cluster customer service & volume objectives and enable growth by driving excellence in execution and building strong relationships across the internal & external network. Primary focus is on supporting the commercial business development of the country cluster by delivering reliable and responsiveness service Owns and develops the Country cluster supply chain strategy and route to market by identifying and balancing key drivers from an economic, industry, customer and competitive landscape perspective Leverages and actively manages the GBS process towers & teams and act as an advocate for E2E SC integration and efficiency Active relationship management and engagement with Global planning & logistics functions, Regional supply chain teams and operations. Primary point of contact for all Supply Chain related items in the Country cluster. Ensures local market intelligence and day-to-day operations are in line with global, regional and local goals (e.g. SLAs, budgets, lead times, ) Owns the Cluster country supply chain budget & service level Actively participates in the demand validation and sign-off of the Country cluster Develops joint business plans with key customers and enables customer intimacy & proximity Supports the development of robust weekly plans and forecast consumption assumptions; leads the country cluster S&OE / S&OP discussions Delivers New Product Introduction process within the Country/cluster (incl management of slow moving/obsolete inventory/Blocked inventory) Be the SPOC of the Country cluster for any Global/Regional projects Ensure Global/Regional processes and policies are implemented and adhered. Job Responsibilities Include

Influence country cluster planning Inputs in monitoring market/customer intelligence and forecast enrichments Support supply balancing activities related to demand shaping (and S&OEs) Agree on a final S&OP and Budget demand plan and critical points to be escalated/resolved for Country cluster Align with commercial teams key New Product Introduction and promotions/activations Provide demand visibility to the supply & execution teams Deliver performance reviews & intakes with key customers Monitors adherence to OPR plans (demand, supply and orders) Oversees regional implementation of S&OP and S&OE decisions Influence country cluster DC logistics Inbound deliveries, finished goods shipping and product pickups Obsolete / outlet inventory management Manages transport & delivery issues Transportation fleet for liquid transportation Customs processing 3PL performance monitoring & tracking Logistics budget & drives Logistics productivity and improvement projects Local distribution strategy and warehouse needs (cost to serve) Influence country cluster order fulfillment Order management (execution and invoicing) 3rd party operations and root cause analysis for refusals/returns Transport purchase and invoicing, incl. effective reporting for refusals/returns Recall strategy and product recalls (in close alignment with Crisis management teams) Order changes / cancellations and resolution of customer complaints Implementation and follow-up of agreed customer SLAs Key stakeholder exchange, and action plans based on customer performance reviews Supervises the handle of product availability (i.e. escalations, shortages) Supervises the management of incomplete orders Owns service level review and problem breakdown analysis for service hits Directs GBS process teams About You

Mandatory - Graduation in Engineer / Business Administration / Economic or System sciences Post graduate in any business / supply chain discipline Proficient in English / Nice to have Spanish Strong communication & presentation skills Commercially view and balanced professional (expectation management) Ability to lead and manage change in a complex environment Min 15+ years of overall experience including 10+ years of relevant domain experience in F&B/FMCG industry Proactive and collaborative approach, demonstrated people leadership via direct and indirect influencing Experience in leading customer facing functions set-up/scale-up/transformation Critical thinking, ability to spot trends and work with large data, multiple stakeholders and challenging context Direct experience in continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems Hands-on & data driven Problem solving skills through root cause analysis What You Can Expect From Barry Callebaut
