Continuous Improvement Specialist
Responsibilities Develop strategies and initiatives for process improvements across the company Implement and manage CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies Develop pipeline of future improvement projects Mentor and coach team members through the improvement process Work across the organization to ensure KPI's and performance metrics are captured correctly and appropriately reported Leverage best practices from across the organization to help drive value and consistency Act as a change agent in the organization, challenge the status quo Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering / operational excellence or relevant experience Five (5+) or more years of relevant experience preferred in the application of Lean tools Experience in facilitating Kaizen events required Experienced in effectively leading improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis / implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Experience in facilitating Kaizen events Ability to effectively communicate results and partner across the organization to establish relationships to drive initiatives and generate value.
