Director, Quality Assurance

The Director, Quality Assurance owns the execution of long-term Quality Assurance strategy and operational direction for Carrier's Commercial HVAC business. The role sets strategies and develops projects and processes to ensure continuous quality improvement. The position will partner with key leadership and stakeholders including engineering, the factory, suppliers, and the field. The Director provides guidance and leadership across the organization in the implementation of plans and procedures that drive achievement of Quality goals. Key Responsibilities Establishes and implements long-term quality strategy, including plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets. Leads development of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving. Leads team collecting and analyzing quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs. Leads team providing production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 10+ years of installation quality experience for a field based business Travel 40% Preferred Qualifications HVAC and software service experience Factory production quality experience Collaborative and bias for action Able to influence and drive change Customer centric and solution oriented Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $174,500.00 - $348,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position is entitled to both short and long-term incentives, subject to plan requirements.
