Public Relations Assistant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to support the PR and Communications team in an in-office capacity. This role is ideal for someone passionate about beauty, media, and brand storytelling, with a strong interest in influencer relations, press outreach, and hands‑on brand operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and product launches Maintain and update media lists, influencer databases, and press contacts Coordinate product seeding to editors, influencers, and brand partners, including packing and shipping from the office Monitor media coverage and compile press reports and analytics Support the planning and execution of in‑person events (press previews, brand events, launches) Draft press materials, including press releases, media pitches, and briefing documents Manage and organize PR sample inventory, closets, and office stock Research industry trends, competitors, and media opportunities Provide day‑to‑day administrative and logistical support to the PR team Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field 0–2 years of relevant PR, beauty, or agency experience (internships included) Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, in‑office environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with PR tools is a plus Ability to be on‑site full‑time in New York City Preferred Skills: Experience with influencer outreach and social media platforms Knowledge of media monitoring tools (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack) Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Comfortable with hands‑on tasks such as packing shipments and managing inventory What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to grow within an established beauty brand Collaborative, fast‑paced, in‑person team environment Exposure to industry‑leading PR strategies and campaigns #J-18808-Ljbffr
