Fabrication Assistant

Hydraulics International, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Assistant to support our fabrication department. This role involves assisting with the preparation and finishing of metal parts, including deburring, grinding, and moving materials throughout the shop. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with deburring, grinding, and sanding fabricated metal parts
• Move and organize parts and materials within the fabrication area
• Clean and prepare parts for the next stage of production
• Support fabrication team members with general shop tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or shop experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to use basic hand tools and grinders
• Ability to lift and move parts as needed
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Work environment:

• Manufacturing shop environment
• Standing, lifting, and moving parts throughout the shift

Hourly range: $18-$19hr.
