World Racing Group is seeking an innovative Digital Marketing Specialist passionate about digital trends to support the effective promotion of its message across digital channels. This role is responsible for creating, deploying, managing, and evaluating digital marketing campaigns—including email and paid digital marketing— with the guidance of the Executive Director of Communications, Digital and Content. Responsibilities Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and oversee digital marketing for World Racing Group and its properties (World of Outlaws, DIRTcar Racing, and DIRTVision), including Google Search, paid social (Facebook, Instagram), OTT, and display advertising. Event Marketing: Collaborate with Event Captains to identify expectations and document event-based marketing plans for promoted and joint-promoted events. Email Marketing: Work with teams to plan and oversee email marketing campaigns while ensuring they follow industry policies, best practices, and company standards. Owned Channels & Cross-Promotion: Ensure consistent promotion and cross-promotion across owned websites and digital channels. Strategy & Innovation: Proactively stay ahead of current and emerging digital trends to determine how the company can best adapt to meet its goals and identify new opportunities to promote products. Audience Development: Create relevant custom audiences from CRM, social, and digital traffic to target all layers of the marketing funnel (prospecting, retention, engagement, and re-activation). Database Management: Oversee the maintenance, security, and integrity of the company’s email databases and CRM, while working to segment and grow the customer base. Analytics & Reporting: Research, track, and analyze consumer behaviors and performance; prepare reports on campaign ROIs and KPIs to optimize user experience and results. Administrative Support: Support departmental needs, manage marketing workflows, and update financial requests or expense reports as needed. Required Skills And Qualifications Experience: At least 3–5 years of related experience in developing and managing digital campaigns is preferred. Education: BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications is strongly preferred. Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with Google Analytics, SEO/SEM and CMS/CRM platforms. Experience with HubSpot or similar customer journey-driven marketing platforms is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel), Photoshop, and HTML. Personal Attributes: High sense of ownership, personal accountability, and the ability to maintain a positive demeanor in highly stressful or demanding situations. Communication: Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Industry Knowledge: An understanding of the motorsports industry is helpful. Logistics Reports To: Executive Director of Communications, Digital and Content. Location: Based in Concord, NC. Status: Full Time, Exempt. Time Demands: Requires a traditional work week plus evening and weekend hours, especially during the racing season. Travel: Less than 5% monthly travel, including day trips and overnights. Physical/Safety: Requires frequent sitting and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
