Minimum three (3+) years of electrical experience in: Shipyard or marine environments (preferred) Industrial electrical Commercial nuclear applications Ability to read and work independently from shipboard drawings and work packages Must meet shipyard access requirements, including background checks
Responsibilities
Read and interpret shipboard electrical installation drawings, wiring tables, schematics, and work packages Lay out and mount electrical equipment and wireways Install cable penetrations in equipment, bulkheads, and decks Perform cable installation and cable terminations Execute cut-in and hook-up of shipboard systems Perform general deck electrician duties aboard vessels under construction or repair Must be a US citizen
