Boston Sailing Center is a leading sailing school and membership club situated on the historic Boston Harbor. Operating a fleet of 75 vessels and serving a community of over 1,000 members and students each year, we provide exceptional on-the-water experiences and host unforgettable events aboard our unique Louisiana Riverboat.
Position Summary We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-focused individual to help manage the daily operations of our active sailing community. This multifaceted role includes responsibilities in sales, marketing, administrative support, and event coordination for both individual members and corporate clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, familiarity with marketing, excellent organizational abilities, and great attention to detail. Prior sailing experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general office coordination
Act as a professional and welcoming presence at the front desk
Deliver outstanding customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
Use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for communication, scheduling, and task tracking
Keep calendars, schedules, and internal records accurate and well-organized
Assist in organizing and executing seasonal events and member activities
Support marketing efforts, including coordinating promotional materials and outreach initiatives
Full-time seasonal position (April through November), with flexible hours available during the off-season
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
