Position Title:
Customer Service & Sales Support
The Customer Service & Sales Support role is essential for ensuring a seamless experience for clients and supporting the sales team. This position requires an individual who is organized and detail‑oriented, with a strong commitment to customer service. The role involves handling daily inquiries, processing orders, and managing documentation related to waste shipping. Customer Service & Sales Support Responsibilities
Handle day‑to‑day customer service by processing orders, answering questions, and resolving issues
Support the sales team with necessary documents and sales processes
Prepare waste shipping manifests and confirm daily sales orders with vendors
Coordinate lab sample pick‑ups and environmental supply orders
Process invoices and vendor bills using QuickBooks
Answer incoming calls, direct callers, and qualify leads for the sales team
Manage incoming mail and distribute it appropriately
Maintain customer files and documentation
Contact customers regarding payment terms and collections
Apply knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations
Follow company policies and maintain safety standards
Customer Service & Sales Support Requirements
High school diploma
2+ years of experience in customer service or sales support
Knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Outlook
Experience in Industrial Waste Services or Regulatory Compliance is preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred
