Visual Merchandiser
Location: East Peoria, IL or Peru, IL
At Ashley Furniture, the #1 home store in North America, you’ll help create and maintain the visual presentation of 2 of our dynamic store locations to make a lasting impression on customers! The Visual Merchandiser contributes to our high-performance culture by modeling our core values and engaging in merchandising activities that keep the Ashley Brand as #1 in the home furnishing market and leader in style, selection, quality and value.

What We’re Looking For
Do you have visual merchandising experience in a retail setting?
Do you work well with others and thrive in a team-based environment?
Are you comfortable around an Excel spreadsheet?
Do you have a strong eye for design and a passion for styling beautiful, cohesive spaces?
Do you have the ability to execute floor moves, including lifting heavy furniture?
The Role As the Visual Merchandiser, you’ll oversee accessory and furniture placement throughout the store. Your role includes:
Design and set up inspiring displays that help customers visualize how furniture fits into their homes.
Distribute accessories and wall decor strategically to enhance showroom presentation.
Refresh and maintain displays and the sales floor throughout the day to keep the store visually appealing and customer-ready.
Process inbound product, tag, and place incoming product to maintain a fully plenished and organized showroom.
Plan and organize floor moves to showcase new product and highlight current home decor trends.
Keep a clear line of communication between warehouse personnel and management to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure timely completion of all tasks related to display product movement.
Learn the furniture retail industry to establish a strong understanding of Ashley’s products.
