CSE Federal Credit Union has a great opportunity for a friendly, professional, service-minded individual to serve as a
Call Representative
in the Member Contact Center.
As a
Call Representative , you’ll field calls from members who have questions about their accounts and our products and services. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with members while providing recommendations and finding the best solutions for their needs. Our Member Contact Center is different than the typical call center environment you might be used to. It is a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Your day might include:
Working with members to understand their financial and lending needs
Answers a high volume of telephone inquiries regarding loan and deposit services, credit and debit cards, account information, or any other member request concerning credit union products and services.
Making product recommendations that align with the member’s goals
Meeting members where they’re at: conveying complex information to members in a way they understand
Creating a positive and low-effort experience for each member
Troubleshooting, as needed
Meeting/exceeding your department goals, while always keeping the member’s best interest front and center
Rolling with change in a dynamic atmosphere
Working with Windows PC and multiple web-based applications
What you must bring to the team: The ideal candidate will have a member-first attitude and value all people. Candidates must demonstrate a sense of urgency in responding to members. They must also be punctual, dependable and demonstrate the ability to earn trust and respect by consistently acting with honesty and professionalism.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous customer service or call center experience preferred, experience in financial services a plus; 6-12 months of CSE experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Professional and courteous demeanor with a member-first attitude.
Ability to learn and adapt to changing procedures and technologies.
Strong working knowledge of our credit union products, services, and regulations.
Must be bondable.
