
Customer Service Representative - Brokerage

This CSR position works on-site at Ruan Campus located downtown Des Moines
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Hours:
7:30A - 4:30P
CSR ensures that loads are prepared correctly in the TMS for coverage by the Broker Team, to include load building and acceptance, appointment scheduling, etc. Interfaces directly with customers and cooperates with Account Management team to cultivate customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Appoint pick up and delivery of loads.
Utilize preferred communication and scheduling methods / platforms per customer.
Enter loads into the system, either by manually building or through EDI acceptance.
Alert customers to assessorial instances and operational occurrences as applicable.
Review scorecards with Manager of Business Dev. and Accounts along with Acct Managers in order to improve how we service each account.
Assist in trouble shooting OSD / Claims / RMA situations by providing factual, concise, collaborative communication between customer, appropriate Ruan personnel, Ops Manager, and Account Manager.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
