Mortgage Loan Processor
The Mortgage Loan Processor will process mortgage loan applications to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of processing those requests. Responsibilities Requests, gathers, and verifies documentation from members based on an initial assessment of application. Evaluates and corrects information as necessary to ensure accuracy of documentation as an application is prepared for underwriting. Serves as point of contact between members, loan officer, realtors, and underwriters. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Position minimally requires at least one year of relevant work experience and a high school diploma or GED; preference will be given to candidates who have proven success working in a mortgage processing role. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Outstanding communication and customer service skills are required. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. One to three years lending experience 10-key calculator and keyboard skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to demonstrate courtesy, tact, and diplomacy Strong attention to detail Efficient in Microsoft Word and Excel The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to handle pressure while paying excellent attention to detail, and must possess the ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
