Summer Camp Site Directors assists the Recreation Department with supervision responsibilities at various camp sites throughout Fairfield. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Planning of daily and weekly events for the 150+ participants at the playground site Supervision of the activities which take place on site so the events are safe and run efficiently Supervision of the leaders who are working at the site Daily attendance and record keeping of all incidents and accidents Making sure that all rules and policies are followed Responsible for the care and use of equipment as well as making sure it is properly stored and brought out for use each day Responsible for keeping site and school clean at all times Responsible for safety of all children and staff on off-site trips Desired Qualifications
Must have creativity, organization skills and the ability to create a "lesson plan" of daily activities and games. Must be able to take on responsibility, take initiative and interact with parents, co-workers and children Experience in working with children or related field Natural leadership abilities Must be available mid-June-mid-August The Town of Fairfield is an equal opportunity employer.
