Role Description Green Tree Country Club is seeking a full-time, on-site Event Director to join our team in West, TX. The Event Director will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of club events, private functions, and catering services. Responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their needs, designing menus, managing catering budgets, coordinating with vendors, and supervising staff to ensure seamless event execution. The Event Director will also play a key role in developing marketing strategies to promote the club’s catering services. Qualifications Event planning and management skills, including experience in coordinating weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings Menu planning and food service expertise, with an understanding of dietary preferences and restrictions Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and vendors effectively Budgeting, scheduling, and organizational skills to ensure timely and cost-effective event execution Leadership and team management experience to oversee catering staff and ensure a high-quality guest experience Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering management software preferred Hospitality-related degree or equivalent experience in event or catering management is a plus
