As the ER Advisor supporting AXA XL Americas (Canada, US, Bermuda & LatAM), you will work closely with the Head of ER and HR Business Partner team to support various employee relations topics. What will your essential responsibilities include? Effectively co-ordinate employment relations processes, administration and communication. Proactively supporting the administration of all employee relations case work to maintain organized and accurate information at all times. Independently manage less complex ER case work up to a certain level, seeking counsel from the ER Partner where required. Conduct internal investigations Support immigration activities across the region Organize and maintain accurate and timely record keeping, ensuring to be legally compliant with this information. Work with Head of ER to monitor overall ER case load and its effective delivery, ensuring consistency in line with legal requirements. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all ER related letter templates and monitoring with the guidance of the ER Partner Support the ER Partner to ensure that all ER policies are effectively in place, maintained and communicated appropriately to all managers and colleagues. Monitor legal trends and updates across the region, including report outs to the HR Business Partner community. You will report to Head of ER, Americas. What you'll bring We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Experience of varied HR and ER skills, ideally in a matrix environment, preferably in financial services or the insurance industry. Solid understanding of local employment law keeping abreast of significant developments that impact upon the workplace. Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to convert data into insightful presentations. Excellent proactive organization skills and ability to plan and prioritize work. Highly customer focused, maintaining a professional attitude always. Shows initiative in acting and responding appropriately. Good communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels. Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion and confidentiality. Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients. Highly responsive to changing demands. Accurate and exceptional attention to detail. Advanced Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint skills. Experience with HR databases would be advantageous. Applicants for this role must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 59,800 89,500.
