Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience as a Concrete Form Carpenter/Finisher or similar role Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans Strong knowledge of different types of formwork materials and their applications Ability to accurately measure, cut, and shape materials to precise specifications Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in formwork installation and concrete finishing Preferred Qualifications: Certification or apprenticeship in Carpentry or a related field Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects Knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the formwork requirements Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, metal, and plastic to create the forms Assemble and secure the forms using nails, screws, and other fasteners Ensure the forms are properly aligned and leveled to achieve the desired shape and dimensions Pour and finish concrete into the forms, smoothing and leveling the surface Skills: In this role, your skills in reading and interpreting blueprints will be crucial in understanding the formwork requirements and ensuring accurate placement of concrete.
