
Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator will create and publish original social media content that transforms marketing strategies into authentic, innovative social experience that strengthen guest connection and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
Develops compelling narratives, video content, and visual campaigns that showcase the casino’s entertainment, promotions, and events.
Conceptualizes, writes, and produces original content for social media platforms.
Captures and edits authentic, real-time content that highlights promotions, entertainment, food, and guest experiences.
Collaborate with Marketing team members to create cohesive multimedia content.
Innovate new visual approaches including reels, stories, live streams, and interactive posts to enhance audience engagement.
Ensures all content upholds the casino’s visual standards while contributing a fresh creative direction.
Engage directly with audiences through thoughtful communication that reinforces the casino’s personality and brand.
Ensure content compliance with all applicable regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
Excellent communication and customer service skills are key, along with knowledge of casino and department policies The role calls for knowledge in MS Office, Social Media Platforms, digital storytelling, basic graphic design, the ability to prioritize and manage time, and ethical decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
One year of social media management or content creation experience
PREFERRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Hospitality, gaming, or entertainment experience
Additional education/experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods in an office or casino environment, with frequent walking, reaching, bending, and light lifting up to 40lbs. The position may involve work in loud or smoke-filled environments.
Additional Requirements: Our facilities operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This position may require evening, weekend, and holiday availability as business needs dictate.
All applicants must obtain and maintain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions; marijuana use will not disqualify an applicant unless the role requires operating a company vehicle.
