In this role, you will play a key part in supporting engineering efforts related to manufacturing, process development, and New Product Introduction (NPI) for semiconductor devices and assemblies. Your responsibilities will include working alongside engineers to assist with drafting, documentation, process development, manufacturing support, materials analysis and definition, and process optimization.\nThis hands-on position focuses on chip and wire assemblies for semiconductor and MMIC packages. You will provide vital support to existing manufacturing processes, with a particular emphasis on NPI prototypes.\nDesign tools, dies, jigs, or fixtures for use in manufacturing processes\nEvaluate tool drawing designs by measuring drawing dimensions and comparing with original specifications for form and function using engineering skills\nPrepare parts sketches and create work orders and purchase requests to be furnished by outside contractors\nEnsure drawings are produced in accordance with applicable drafting codes and standards\nDevise, fabricate, or assemble new or modified mechanical components for products\nCollaborate with engineers and designers to ensure that designs meet project specifications and requirements\nAssist with the modification and control of procedures and documents\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nAssociate degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics related fields (or equivalent certifications)\n2-3 years of experience\nCoursework that covers college level mathematics and introductory courses in science/engineering principles\nProficient in drafting and the use of AutoCAD or SolidWorks applications and with Microsoft Office tools\nStrong inspection and measurement abilities\nPractical verbal and written communication skills (English) can clearly present and discuss manufacturing information to technical and non-technical team members\nDemonstrate strong attention to detail while effectively managing multiple tasks and projects, staying well organized, and adapting quickly to a fast-paced environment with a steep learning curve\nHave a willingness to continuously learn in a mentally challenging environment\nWork and communicate effectively in a team environment\nPreferred:\nBachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics related fields 3D modeling experience\nMachine Shop experience\nFamiliarity with statistical methods such as SPC, Gage R&R, DOE, 5 Why's, 6 Sigma, etc.\nChip and wire assembly experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment\nExperience with MIL-PRF-19500 & / or MIL-PRF-38534 product manufacture\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
