Our client is a market leader known for its sophisticated risk management and aggressive growth. You will serve as the primary credit authority for a diverse retail book, bridging the gap between deep financial analysis and commercial trading strategy. Key Responsibilities Sector-Specific Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive credit evaluations of large-scale retail counterparties, analyzing liquidity, cash flow stability, and consumer-driven market risks. Strategic Decision Making:

Partner directly with trading desks to approve credit limits and structure enhancements (LCs, Guarantees) that facilitate high-volume retail trades. Active Monitoring:

Oversee a high-visibility portfolio, identifying early warning signs in the retail sector such as shifting consumer behavior or inflationary pressures. Risk Leadership:

Present detailed credit committee memos to senior leadership, providing actionable insights into portfolio concentration and counterparty viability. The Ideal Candidate Professional Background:

5–10 years of credit risk experience within a

commodities trading house, investment bank, or major energy firm . Retail Expertise (Highly Preferred):

You possess a nuanced understanding of the retail landscape, including seasonal demand cycles and the unique financial structures of major retail entities. Analytical Rigor:

Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel) and experience with energy/commodity risk systems (e.g., Allegro, Endur, EKA). Education:
