Emergency Department Director

Community hospital looking to bring on Emergency Department Director! Sign-On Bonus and Full Relocation! Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer. Functions as Emergency Department Director, clinical resource person, and responsible for nursing resource utilization, assumes responsibility for Emergency Services Operations for shift worked. 10 ER beds 15,000 annual visits FTEs: 18 Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse, ADN required, BSN recommended. 3+ years acute care clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting, or 3+ years demonstrated leadership as an emergency department charge nurse. Familiar with scheduling Emergency Department assignments, staffing assignments, acuity systems, and level triage. Has developed and presented education sessions. Has performed employee evaluations and assisted with orientation of staff. Experience investigating problems and provides solutions with- in the framework of best practice and nursing process.
