This position will be a remote territory sales position covering the North and South Carolina region. The candidate must live within the region. Please note: This position is not eligible for relocation and applicant must currently reside within designated region. About The Role

Millwood is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth within our expanding Crating and Value-Added Packaging Division. In this high-impact role, you'll identify and secure large-scale business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and shape our commercial strategy across North America. The Successful Candidate

They must also respect what has been accomplished at the Company and can learn and add their own value and knowledge to further develop people strategies to recruit, train, develop and retain World Class Associates for the Strategic Business Unit and assist in its growth plan and in achieving profitability goals and value creation efforts. Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our organization by identifying new business opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with our business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing sales revenue. Ultimately, this role is crucial for establishing our brand presence in the market and achieving sustainable growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Identify, qualify and secure high-value accounts with an annual packaging and crating spend in line with Millwood's strategic growth strategy. Builds market position by developing and closing business relationships. Identifies trends through industry research and events. Proposes potential deals by contacting potential partners. Lead negotiations and close high-impact deals by negotiating contracts and integrating them with operations. Conducts industry research for effective sales solutions. Promotes products/services to prospective clients. Leverage broker partnerships to expand Millwood's presence in underserved markets. Structure long-term contracts that foster sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships. Partner with internal design and engineering teams to develop tailored packaging and crating solutions. Provide local support for National Account customer locations that are in the territory. Document all activity in Salesforce. Develop competitive pricing models which protect margin integrity. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies

Ability to conform and adapt to core values and culture. Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a formal and conversational English and bilingual with Spanish a plus. Strong basic math skills. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. (Preferred) 5+years in regional sales management or a similar role. Proven strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to travel within the territory 3-5 days per week. Availability for overnight travel within your territory and to corporate meetings, events; or as required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and Outlook. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel by car and plane. Must be able to rent transportation when required. Compensation will be base salary $55,000-$65,000, dependent on experience, plus competitive commission package.
