\n Principle Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\n

Grow existing relationships and develop new corporate relationships with assigned Pulp & Paper accounts. Increase DeZURIK's brand awareness and utilize contacts to penetrate each account with multiple product lines.
Provide input to Sales Management regarding opportunities to increase profitability.
In conjunction with the DeZURIK Regional Sales Managers (RSM's) and the DeZURIK rep network, develop, support, and execute a strategic plan that properly positions DeZURIK's products within assigned key accounts.
In conjunction with the DeZURIK Regional Sales Managers (RSM's) and the DeZURIK rep network, coordinate key account project pursuit.
Define, implement and manage key account expectations regarding the performance, pricing, and delivery of DeZURIK products.
Contribute to DeZURIK product development initiatives in support of Pulp & Paper market opportunities and work with key account contacts to accept and employ specifications supportive of DeZURIK product lines.
Utilize DeZURIK's CRM tool to monitor sales opportunities and manage project pursuit.
Participate in Sales Department initiatives related to or associated with Pulp & Paper market, as assigned by company management.

\n Education and Experiences\n \n

Bachelor's degree with a minimum 7 years of experience - Engineering discipline preferred.
10 years in a technical or sales management position serving the domestic Pulp & Paper market.

Proven decision-making abilities for preparing and executing bids and establishing price levels.
General understanding of acceptable business and sales practices.

JOB PROFILE\nGENERAL DESCRIPTION\nReporting to the US Southwest Sales Manager, this position is responsible for providing technical sales to area customers in order to identify, communicate, and pursue sales opportunities of Andritz Fabrics and Rolls products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Develops relationships with paper mill customer base to identify Andritz sales opportunities.

Conducts paper machine audits and service calls to assist customers with innovated sales applications.

Ensures customer needs are clearly defined and addressed in a timely manner.

Conducts paper machine optimization, shutdown inspections, and prepares onsite reports.

Optimize operating efficiencies for customers utilizing proprietary modeling software programs.

Troubleshoots customer problems and provides and/or helps implement appropriate solutions.

Mitigates warranty exposure through early detection and prevention of potential problems.

Assists paper mills to set up proper records and complete value results platforms.

Helps the local team build and maintain comprehensive databases on customer paper machine clothing roll cover, bowed roll and mechanical specifications, installation and product life information.

Conducts “Rezolve - press optimization studies” of area paper machines to enhance paper machine productivity and increase Andritz sales.

Searches out and recommends new machine clothing, roll cover, and bowed roll applications.

Communicates field activity, including sales opportunities, inter-company items, and competitive issues to the appropriate Regional Sales Manager.

Prepares monthly summary to the Regional Sales Manager outlining highlights of the previous month, a forecast of the requirements of the following month, areas of opportunity in the field, plant issues, and competitive issues/gossip.

Manages an expense budget to maintain and grow business.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: Degree in Engineering or Business preferred, and/or extensive maintenance, production, or sales experience within the paper or other related applicable industry

Qualifications (Required)
