Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00am4:00pm
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Design Manager, the
Mechanical Designer
will design, develop, and analyze new and existing hydraulic products. Please note that this role is onsite only and does not offer remote or hybrid options. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design and update for new and existing hydraulic products 2. Assign new part numbers in the Microsoft access program 3. Generate quote BOM (Bill of Material) and necessary drawings for QR 4. Generate necessary drawings for new product in a CAD system 5. Process Change Requests; make necessary changes to drawings, BOM, etc. and write ECN 6. Work with Quality Assurance and Materials on development of substitute materials 7. Update and maintain JARP Industries engineering specifications and standards MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Troubleshoot and provide assistance on the production floor as needed 2. Help update and maintain customer files 3. Help maintain the drawing files EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: (2) Two-year associate/technical degree in mechanical design QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 1. Familiar with various machining processes 2.
