
Strategic Account Manager

C-K Control Temp is seeking a Strategic Account Manager responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with very visible key commercial and light industrial clients within the HVAC/ Professional Mechanical Services Industry. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and positioning the company as a trusted partner for all systems, maintenance, and energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
Build and manage relationships with strategic accounts
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value HVAC clients
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
Collaborate with internal teams (Service, Construction) to deliver tailored HVAC solutions
Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and proposal development
Monitor project execution and ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Analyze client needs related to energy efficiency, system performance, and regulatory compliance
Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and account performance metrics
Seek ou new sales opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and following up on company-provided leads.
Initiate contact with potential customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Conduct on-site visits to assess existing systems, identify customer needs, and determine desired outcomes.
Explain the features and benefits of the company's products and services, addressing any customer concerns.
Present clear, accurate, and detailed proposals, contracts, and sales agreements.
Negotiate pricing and terms to secure sales.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Ensure a seamless transition for customers by coordinating with installation and service teams.
Strong collaboration with Operations and Leadership Teams.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and the sales pipeline using CRM software.
Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and competitors to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and networking events.
Strive to consistently meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, related field and / or equivalent years of experience in a similar role (at least 8+ years)
Understanding of HVAC systems, products, and services is required to assist customers effectively.
Minimum of 10 years of HVAC selling experience.
Strong sales skills, including prospecting, presentation, and negotiation abilities, are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as strong interpersonal skills, to build trust and rapport with customers.
Candidates should be self-motivated, results-oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent time management skills.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are often required for on-site client visits.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Strong work ethic, integrity, and reliability.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
50%-day Travel in NJ required
