Position Summary The TIGI Packaging Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end development and commercialization of packaging solutions across the TIGI portfolio. This role serves as a technical expert and key cross-functional partner, driving packaging innovation, ensuring regulatory and EPR compliance, and delivering cost-effective, manufacturable designs. The position requires strong ownership, supplier engagement, and the ability to independently manage complex packaging initiatives from concept through launch. Primary Responsibilities · Partner with Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Quality and Finance on developing new packaging through external suppliers. · Ensure that projects meet the brand’s needs while meeting cost, quality, design and functional requirements. · Manage the creation and upkeep of packaging component specifications in Evermark’s specification system. · Develop testing plans for new product development projects and execute with third party testing labs and component suppliers. · Identify and implement cost savings initiatives. · Visit on-site production startups and line trials to qualify new packaging componentry and new fillers. · Maintain knowledge of external vendor capabilities. · Stay current with new packaging material regulations and industry trends. · Troubleshoot issues in production. · Support ongoing base business to ensure stock coverage. Required Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Packaging/Plastics/Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering, or related field. · 5 – 7 years of proven experience in package engineering & development in consumer products, beauty, or related industry for a global product portfolio. · Experience creating packaging specifications for manufacturing. · A technical acumen with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings for components and assemblies. · Demonstrated knowledge of various manufacturing processes including extrusion blow molding, ISBM, injection molding, printing and filling. · Knowledge of various CPG packaging materials and their physical and chemical properties. · Ability to partner effectively across a diverse set of business partners and customers to deliver key results in a timely manner. · Entrepreneurial, business owner mentality, willing to be hands-on and contribute as one team. · Ability to tackle complex problems through critical thinking. · Excellent communication skills, including spoken and written English. · Ability to travel both internationally and domestically up to 40%. · Strong PC skills: MS Office, PowerPoint, CAD software is a plus. The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 CAD per year. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. xywuqvp Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
