Field Trainer
As Field Trainer, you play a critical role in elevating the capability, confidence, and performance of our Beauty Hosts, Assistant Boutique Managers, and Boutique Managers, Sephora Account Executives and stores. You will deliver impactful training that strengthens product knowledge, service excellence, and selling behaviors to drive overall business performance. You will report to the Regional Retail Director and partner closely with Field Leadership, Education, and Retail Operations to ensure seamless execution of training programs, in store coaching, and support for events, product launches, and promotional initiatives. This role requires a dynamic facilitator, a strong coach, and a passionate brand ambassador who can inspire teams and enhance the L'Occitane client experience. Profile
Previous experience in retail education or field training Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling and engaging training content Highly organized, with strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities under deadlines Strategic, creative, and results oriented mindset Strong collaboration skills and ability to build positive partnerships across teams Proficient knowledge of the beauty industry, client experience, and competitive retail landscape Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for talent development Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Bachelor's degree preferred Role Responsibilities
Training & Field Development
Implement and deliver brand training programs, including onboarding, seasonal curricula, and development workshops. Lead in-store education for new hires and seasonal employees, reinforcing service standards and selling strategies. Cultivate strong product expertise, storytelling, and demonstration techniques among store teams. Support skill development that enhances service behaviors and drives business results.
Store Visits & Coaching
Conduct regular store visits to assess training effectiveness, knowledge retention, and skill adoption. Provide real-time coaching, modeling, and feedback to elevate performance. Partner with Field Leadership to identify capability gaps and recommend training solutions aligned with business priorities.
Events, Launches & Brand Initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support and execute field events, activations, and promotional campaigns. Train field teams on key product launches, storytelling, and brand moments. Support major seasonal initiatives, events, and education-led activations to drive client engagement.
Brand Representation & Culture
Act as a brand ambassador, embodying L'Occitane's retail identity and ethos. Reinforce brand rituals, service standards, and client-first culture across all stores. Inspire teams through positive representation, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain accurate training records, reporting, and follow-up communication. Support new store openings, and additional projects as assigned. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of training programs and tools.
