This CONUS - Oklahoma City, OK | Web and Digital Interface Designer - Aerospace Medical Research (AMR20) Contract Contingent position currently best aligns with the Web and Digital Interface Designer Labor Category. Ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive "Jugaad" and dialogue targeting mission success. ProSidian Team Members work to provide Gov't. - Federal (USA) Sector related Human Capital Solutions for Aerospace Medical Research and Technical Support Services on behalf of The Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI). Web and Digital Interface Designer - Aerospace Medical Research (AMR20) Candidates shall work to support requirements for (Aerospace Medical Research Services) and shall work as part of a team in support of Aerospace Medical Research efforts. The candidate will complete tasks and activities contributing to deliverables and core mission functions in the Aerospace Medical Research space. Must, in coordination with CAMI Website authorities, plan and execute website development activities include design of website interfaces for planned and existing desktop applications including GCEM, CARI-6, CARI-7, its successors, and related products. Tasks include: Create accessible and easily navigable webpages, including the design and development of webpages to enable the dissemination and communication of information about the agency's research and programs to internal and external audiences via the internet. Source codes must be provided and webpages must meet Section 508 Accessibility standards and other applicable Federal website publishing standards. Provide web site performance assessment and analysis, including usability testing, quality assurance, documenting the standards used for development. Interact with others, including the CAMI Webmaster, CAMI IT Liaison, and non-FAA partners as needed for planning and to exchange information needed to research, evaluate, design, and implement new web and multimedia interfaces and to devise improvements in existing web systems. Contribute to the web design effort with emphasis on the technical interactivity/functionality/usefulness of websites: creating, editing, and efficiently arranging materials into a creative, cohesive, and visually gratifying end-user experience. Based on existing and emerging technology, makes recommendations regarding the design of existing websites and planned website developments. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Web Design or related field (e.g., Computer Science or Communications with emphasis on Web Design) OR an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience. Degree must be from an accredited university. One year in the field beyond experience equivalent to a B.S or B.A. degree. Experience in ensuring design/development meets Section 508 Accessibility standards and other applicable Federal website publishing standards.
