*Candidates must currently reside in the Palm Beach County metro area* Job Overview The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing assigned construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This role manages all field activities and coordinates site operations to meet project goals and timelines. Key Responsibilities Oversee jobsite safety, quality, and schedule for one or more projects Maintain daily documentation (reports, photos, look-ahead schedules, safety meetings) Lead toolbox talks and enforce safety protocols Coordinate subcontractors, site staff, materials, and equipment Review and verify contracts, submittals, shop drawings, and permits Ensure work aligns with plans, scope, and schedule Manage inspections, material testing, and site logistics Track progress, resolve conflicts, and address field issues Conduct site meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors Approve work prior to inspections and ensure compliance Support self-performed work including material takeoffs and procurement Ensure proper site access, security, and emergency preparedness Required Skills Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to read xywuqvp and interpret plans, scopes, and construction documents Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and equipment Ability to document, report, and solve on-site issues Proficient with construction software and Microsoft Office tools Qualifications 5+ years field construction experience preferred Certifications not required, but OSHA/trade/equipment experience is a plus
