full-time salaried position of Police Chief . The Police Chief is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the police department and ensuring public safety within the community. Benefits

Firearms training
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years of law enforcement experience
Current certification with the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board
Successful completion of a background investigation, drug screening, physical exam, and psychological evaluation
Ability to work effectively in a rural community
