Outside Machinist

Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual and precision machine tools including lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grindersInterpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining sequence and setup requirementsCalculate dimensions, tooling requirements, feeds, and speeds using standard shop mathematicsMeasure, mark, and lay out stock for machining using precision measuring instrumentsUse machinist hand tools and inspection equipment to ensure parts meet exact tolerancesFit and assemble precision components into mechanical equipmentDetermine materials, parts, and tooling required for productionModify and adjust numerically controlled (NC) programs as neededMonitor and verify product quality in accordance with statistical process control and quality proceduresMaintain a safe and organized work environmentQualificationsMinimum 5 years of related machining experienceStrong blueprint reading and technical interpretation skillsProficiency with precision measuring instrumentsExperience with NC/CNC programming modifications preferredStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent technical training preferredMust be a US CitizenJob Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 Per hour$120 Perdiem NON LOCAL ONLY$$$ HIRE BONUS$$$Ameri-Force BenefitsAs part of the Ameri-Force team, a recognized ESOP company, you have a personal stake in the collective success of the organization, fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
