We are seeking a Parts Specialist for County Materials, Marathon City, WI.
Job Duties
Maintain working areas in clean and orderly condition.
Obtain quotes on parts and supplies.
Communicate with vendors to check part availability.
Pick up and deliver parts from vendors as needed.
Communicate with mechanical technicians to evaluate parts needed.
Maintain inventory levels.
Source and order parts from suppliers.
Work Environment
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures.
Work near moving machinery and equipment – could include electrical hazards.
Work in a noisy environment.
Physical Requirements
Sitting
Carrying/Lifting 10–40 pounds
Standing/Walking/Climbing
Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
Pushing/Pulling/Reaching above shoulder
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in diesel mechanics or related field.
Pro‑active, multi‑tasked, self‑motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.
Strong computer knowledge.
