Job Summary Connection’s Federal Sales division is adding to our passionate sales support team serving the IT needs of Federal agencies and the US military. With more than 25 years of service to the Federal Government, Connection is a proven, premier partner for procuring mission‑critical IT solutions across the country with technology that enhances growth, elevates productivity, and empowers innovation. The Order Compliance Processor supports the sales team with quality control, order fulfillment and contract compliance. This role is an integral part of the success of the sales team and assists in account retention and growth. Responsibilities
Accurately performs quality control review of federal sales orders working with sales and other departments to ensure contract compliance. Releases orders for processing and fulfillment.
Reviews customer purchase orders per existing policies and procedures, verifying sales order details such as bill to/ship to accounts, purchase order number, purchase order total, and contract compliance checklist.
Confirms system order accurately reflects quote and delivery order.
Electronically files documents for audit trail.
Possesses the ability to resolve issues utilizing company resources.
Checks status of back logged orders and researches orders in the system that have not invoiced.
Makes limited scope of corrections on sales order items that conflict with compliance.
Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet.
Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials.
Customer oriented with ability to listen to and anticipate needs of the customer.
Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication.
Excellent written communication skills with ability to compose professional business communications via email, letter, and proposals.
Detail oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy.
Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines.
Good listening skills with ability to receive information completely and understand what is being said.
