In the role of
Mechanical EIT/Coordinator
we’ll count on you to:
Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications
Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Interest and/or experience designing HVAC systems
Commercial/institutional experience in healthcare, technology/data centers, and/or water-wastewater preferred
Recent or near-term future graduates will be considered
EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression within 3 months
Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
Experience or ability to become proficient in using Revit
2 years experience in HVAC or Plumbing related design fields.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, and equipment selection software)
