Offering a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture, along with the opportunity to share your unique potential, there really is no place like Holmes!**Basic Function:**The purpose of this position is to collaborate and contribute to the creation of all visual concepts, marketing materials, and illustrations for all Holmes Murphy locations as well its subsidiary companies.**Essential Responsibilities:*** Organize and manage design projects from concept to delivery for various print and digital materials, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and brand standards.* Provide strategic advice and leadership in creative direction for brands, establishing and maintaining brand standards across all visual materials.* Expertly utilize a wide range of media and advanced graphic design software to produce innovative and high-quality designs.* Execute advanced retouching and manipulation of images, ensuring all visuals meet the highest standards of quality.* Handle ownership of maintaining and updating content and collateral, ensuring all materials are current and consistent with brand standards.* Consult with print vendors, managing collaboration to ensure the production of high-quality materials.**Additional Responsibilities:*** Simplify complex processes or concepts into clear, compelling visuals that effectively communicate the intended message.* Stay updated on corporate initiatives and proactively integrate relevant changes into brand design, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.* Proactively generate and present innovative ideas that support and enhance the team’s marketing plans, driving creative excellence.* Performs special projects and other duties as requested.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Demonstrate advanced expertise in design fundamentals, typography, print, and web, applying these principles to create sophisticated and innovative designs that set industry standards.* Exhibit mastery of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software, leveraging these tools to lead complex design projects and mentor junior designers.* Maintain a compelling portfolio showcasing a wide range of high-impact creative projects, reflecting a depth of experience and a consistent track record of successful design solutions.* Clearly and confidently communicate the reasoning behind design choices to senior stakeholders and clients, influencing decision-making processes and securing buy-in for design strategies.* Utilize strong leadership and people skills to guide and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while effectively managing team dynamics.* Exhibit an outcome-oriented mindset with a high level of dedication to seeing projects through from start to finish, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results on time and within scope.* Consistently bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to projects, while adeptly absorbing and executing feedback to achieve project goals and exceed expectations.* Demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities and efficiency, meticulously managing multiple high-stakes tasks and projects under tight deadlines with attention to detail.* Show a demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate a high volume of activity under diverse conditions and constraints, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery.* Display the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactively driving projects forward within guidelines, and taking ownership of outcomes while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.* Ability and willingness to pursue relevant designations and/or continuing education, as appropriate.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
