Territory Manager, Medical Dermatology - Hartford, CT

Overview The Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics and institutions that specialize in medical dermatology. The Territory Manager will develop and implement territory business plans that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives, coordinating with the HQ Commercial Team and field employees to drive product acceptance within the designated business area and geography.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and integrate with the HQ Commercial Team and field employees to drive acceptance of promoted products.

Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Utilize CRM, sales data and reports to understand and leverage territory performance.

Perform timely call reporting and expense reporting.

Manage promotional budgets within the territory.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s Degree

Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experience

Strong communication skills and business acumen

Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt and deliver results

Valid driver’s license

Preferred

5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience

3+ years medical dermatology sales experience

Experience selling products in a complex Market Access environment

Experience promoting high‑science products

Product launch experience

Experience selling in a highly competitive environment

Personal Skills & Attributes This individual must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals. They should be highly motivated, professional, capable of building trust with their matrix team, and transparent, ethical, and compliant in all activities. Proficiency at selling and presenting detailed scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion is essential.

Compensation & Benefits The currently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $104,000 to $136,000, varying by location and experience. The role is part of the IC Commission Plan. Employees are eligible for benefit programs including medical, dental, vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k); flexible spending accounts; and employee assistance program. Additional paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time, are provided.
