Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Southport, Connecticut. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the architectural and interior design team to assist in the execution of luxury residential interior. Responsibilities include sourcing materials, selecting furniture and fixtures, preparing specifications for upholstery and window treatments, processing orders of select items, assisting with the management of selections and inventories, and assisting with the planning and execution of final installment. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to delivering high-quality designs that meet client needs.
Qualifications
Expertise in Interior Design and luxury residential projects.
Knowledge of textile sourcing and procurement
Knowledge of window treatment and upholstery fabrication
Strong project management abilities with attention to detail and deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Quickbooks.
Familiarity with historic interiors and furnishings
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team setting
This is a temporary position through October 1, 2026, with potential to extend.
