Lead a community arts organization while helping shape a countywide creative district. This role blends nonprofit leadership and community development to expand arts, culture, and connection across Valley County.

The Role Dual Leadership Position: Executive Director of The Golden Husk Theatre and Creative District Lead/Coordinator.

Flexible Structure: Time allocation shifts seasonally based on programming and events.

Builder Opportunity: Shape systems, partnerships, and long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities Theatre Leadership

Oversee operations, finances, and fundraising.

Build donor, sponsor, and community relationships.

Manage events, rentals, and facility use.

Collaborate on programming with Artistic Director.

Connect artists and partners across four communities.

Support events and countywide initiatives.

Coordinate the Big Give Giving Day.

Represent the district regionally.

Creative District Leadership

Connect artists and partners across four communities.

Support events and countywide initiatives.

Coordinate the Big Give Giving Day.

Maintain a creative asset map.

Represent the district regionally.

Shared Priorities

Strengthen cross‑sector partnerships.

Expand community engagement and access.

Identify growth and sustainability opportunities.

What You’ll Bring Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Interest in arts, nonprofit, or community development.

Preferred

Experience with events, nonprofits, or partnerships.

Interest in rural communities and creative placemaking.

Familiarity with marketing, fundraising, or digital tools.

Support & Growth

Engaged Board of Directors.

Artistic Director collaboration.

Community partners and volunteers.

Contract support (grant writing, production).

Phased onboarding and role development.

Compensation & Benefits Full‑time (40 hrs/week) | $52,000-$65,000 annually

Benefits include: Flexible schedule, 10 days PTO per year, paid holidays, professional development, theatre event family pass.

Start dates: June 2026 (part‑time onboarding), July 2026 (full‑time).
