The main scope of duties Collecting and preparing samples for testing, including aggregates and concrete. Performing tests of construction products in an accredited laboratory. Accurate and compliant documentation of performed activities in all documents specified in procedures/instructions for individual tests, including calculation, verification, and entry of obtained results. Knowledge of issues related to the position and currently applicable implementing documents and procedures. Operating measuring and testing equipment in accordance with applicable instructions and with due care to prevent damage. Performing assigned tasks/tests in accordance with current standards, testing procedures, the quality policy, and instructions from the direct supervisor. Maintaining cleanliness of testing stations, measuring and testing equipment, and auxiliary equipment, and ensuring order in shared rooms. Supervision of equipment within the scope specified in separate documents — authorization to inspect equipment in the Concrete and Lightweight Composites Research Group. Solving problems and technical issues within the represented specialization falling within the activities of the Research Group. Implementation of tasks related to obtaining funding from European Union funds, in particular the preparation and submission of funding applications. Higher technical education (Master’s degree or equivalent). Knowledge of the use of industrial waste as alternative raw materials for the production of building materials. Knowledge of testing methods and the ability to perform building materials testing in accordance with PN-EN standards, confirmed by professional experience. Ability to analyze and interpret testing standards and laboratory test results. Ability to prepare technical documentation and test reports. Knowledge of basic statistical tools. High physical fitness and willingness to perform physical work related to sampling and testing concrete and aggregates (including periodic lifting of materials weighing more than 25 kg, in accordance with OHS regulations and permissible standards). Willingness to travel for business purposes (sample collection, field testing). Valid Category B driving license. Willingness to work under an equivalent working time system. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Very good command of Polish, both spoken and written. Communicative level of English (minimum A2). Additionally, the candidate must meet at least one of the following criteria: Participation in at least one scientific conference, industry conference, or specialized training. Authorship or co‑authorship of at least one scientific or popular‑science publication, industry report, or analysis prepared for socio‑economic stakeholders. Experience in research and development activities, e.g., participation in an R&D project, cooperation in preparing analyses, reports, or technical studies. Preferred qualifications: PhD degree in engineering and technical sciences. Experience in a building materials laboratory operating under a quality system compliant with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025. Specialized knowledge in the field of rheological testing of building materials. Specialized knowledge in the field of 3D printing of building materials. Working circumstances Remuneration will be determined in accordance with the Employee Remuneration Regulations, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials. Additional benefits: social benefits and others will be determined in accordance with the Employee Remuneration Regulations, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials and with Project Regulations.
